nature. This creates many complications for both humans and nature, including the‬ consumption of tiny microplastics by both aquatic animals and humans. Recently, however,‬ in the past two or so years, there has been growing evidence for the evolution of‬ decomposers, specifically bugs and some fungi, gaining the ability to digest polyesters and‬ plastics to clean the world of them.‬
